Starting February 6th 2012 advance seat selection (ASR-seat) will be offered as an optional service in Finnair Economy class. ASR-seat reservation becomes an optional service on all scheduled flights departing on and after 15th of March 2012.
The ASR-seating remains free of charge for the following passenger categories:

· passengers in booking classes Y, B, H, G, A and X
· Finnair Plus Platinum and Gold members + oneworld Emerald and Sapphire members
· passengers with reduced mobility (PRM)
· unaccompanied minors (UMNR)
· flights between Finland and Japan until 31.10.2012
Finnair Plus Silver members will get a discount of 50% on the advance seat selection, excluding exit row seats.

All passengers will be able to select a seat free of charge according to the availability in check-in 36 hours before the flight.

Flights between Finland and Japan

The ASR optional service will be introduced for flights between Finland and Japan on departures as of 1.11.2012. In addition to booking classes Y, B, H, G, A and X also K, M, P, T, L, V, S and N booking classes will continue to get advance seat selection free of charge.

Fees:

· Domestic Finland, Scandinavia and Baltic flights: 6 €
· Continental Europe: 8 €
· Asia and North America economy, leg space: 60€
· Asia* and North America economy, bulkhead seat: 40€
· Asia* and North America economy, any other seat: 20€
